How it works
Three steps, start to finish.

Describe and privately photograph the jewelry
Tell us what you have — metal, markings, condition — and add clear photos and a short video. It stays private with your request.
Receive sealed offers
Eligible approved jewelers evaluate your item and respond with their own preliminary offer. No jeweler ever sees another's offer, or how many others exist.
Compare, select, decline, or walk away
Review every offer side by side. Select one to open direct messaging, decline any you're not interested in, or leave your request open while you wait for more.
Why JewelersBid
A fairer way to compare, before you ever leave home.
Calling around takes hours
Visiting one shop at a time and comparing offers from memory isn't a fair way to compare.
One conversation instead of five
Describe your piece and share private photos once. Every eligible jeweler works from the exact same information.
You still choose in person
JewelersBid never buys, sells, or holds your item. You meet the jeweler you select to finish the sale — the offer here is where the conversation starts, not where it ends.
Safety & privacy
Built to put you in control, not on display.
Private by default
Every photo and video you upload stays private. Nothing is ever made public.
Your contact stays hidden
Jewelers respond without seeing your contact information, until you choose to move forward with one.
Every jeweler is approved
No one can see or respond to a request until they've applied and been personally reviewed. Approval means we've reviewed the application — it is not a license, insurance, or identity check unless stated separately.
An offer can't be quietly changed
Once a jeweler submits an offer, it can't be edited or deleted. If they need to adjust after inspecting the item in person, that's a new conversation with you, never a silent edit.
Offers are preliminary
A number here is a starting point. Final pricing is always confirmed in person, after inspection and testing.
Your decision, on your terms
Every offer is yours to accept, decline, or reconsider.
Decline without losing your spot
Not interested in an offer? Decline it. Your request stays open, every other offer stays visible, and you can still receive more.
Change your mind
Declined an offer you want to reconsider? Restore it — the original offer is never deleted, so it's still there.
Walk away, any time
You can decline every single offer you receive. There's no minimum you have to accept, and no penalty for choosing not to sell.
A clear window, not a countdown trick
Each request has an honest offer window. Once it passes without a selection, the request simply closes — nothing auto-selects on your behalf.

For jewelers
Bring your business to local customers already looking to sell.
Local jewelers can apply, build a business profile, and respond to sell requests once approved. Every application is reviewed personally before a jeweler can see a single request.
- Apply and build a business profile — reviewed personally, not auto-approved.
- See sealed requests from customers in Metro Atlanta once approved.
- Submit one honest, preliminary offer per request — never a competitor's offer or amount.
- Message the customer directly, only after they select your offer.
